The European Politics and Governance Studies programme combines academic excellence and hands-on professional development giving students a rewarding educational experience with an extraordinarily high ratio of teaching staff to students.

Our dynamic one-year programme brings together top-level experts (leading academics and experienced practitioners) from across Europe who offer a wide array of courses covering the latest cutting-edge topics in EU affairs and develop highly valued skills that prepare students for today’s job market – working in and around the EU and its institutions and processes, public affairs and national administrations.

Our Department is a laboratory of European integration and the go-to place for the study of all current and future aspects of the EU and the European integration process with a unique four-week simulation game, run by knowledgeable and experienced practitioners, giving students a true insight into EU legislative policy-making procedures.

After completing our Master’s degree you will have acquired:

• An in-depth knowledge and first-hand experience of how EU institutions and decision-making processes work, and how to work with them now and in the near future
