Understanding Migration Through Practice: Natolin Students Visit the Polish Migration Forum Foundation

The Migration & Human Rights Nest of the College of Europe in Natolin organised a study visit to the Polish Migration Forum Foundation, an exciting opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the work of an NGO supporting migrants and refugees in Poland.

This visit provided a unique opportunity to understand an NGO’s perspective on migration and human rights through the experience of the Polish Migration Forum.

Participants engaged directly with the Director, Ms. Agnieszka KOSOWICZ, and other representatives of the Foundation, learning about their work supporting migrants and refugees in Poland, particularly following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.

When Poland welcomed nearly two million refugees from Ukraine in 2022, the Foundation significantly expanded its operations, increasing its team fivefold to provide professional, comprehensive, and free assistance to tens of thousands of people with migration experience each year.
