Irish Ambassador discusses the Presidency of the Council of the EU with our students

Who better to hear about Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU than from the Irish Ambassador to Albania, Ciara O'Floinn, a College of Europe alumna and resident in Greece? In a conversation with our resident professor, Odeta Barbullushi, Ambassador O’Floinn discussed the priorities and challenges of the Irish Presidency. She also spoke with our students about Ireland’s bilateral relations with Albania, its support for Albania’s EU accession, and Ireland’s own experience of joining the European Union and the impact it has had on the country.
