The Human Capital Development Conference

Building the future starts with people, and we’re proud to be part of last Friday’s event.

The Human Capital Development Conference, co-organized by UNICEF Albania and the College of Europe in Tirana, brought together representatives from the United Nations, European Union Delegation, World Bank, government, academia, and students to discuss the future of human capital and the role of academia in shaping it.

Our Rector, Federica Mogherini, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of investing in human capital for the European integration process and highlighting the College’s contribution to strengthening knowledge and capacities in society.

Our Resident Professor, Odeta Barbullushi, moderated the first panel discussion on “Human Capital at the Heart of Albania’s Next Chapter and the Role of Academia.” A huge thank you to all our amazing partners and collaborators who joined us today in Tirana!
