Workshop on “LinkedIn: A tool for your career” with Mr Rémi AUGUSTYNIAK-BERZIN | Capacity Building Office

The Capacity Building Office had the pleasure to organise a training course titled: “LinkedIn: A tool for your career”, delivered by Mr Rémi AUGUSTYNIAK-BERZIN, Natolin alumnus with experience in several public affairs positions in Paris.

During this interactive workshop, Mr AUGUSTYNIAK-BERZIN engaged with students to address key questions such as: 

  • Why and how to create a LinkedIn profile?
  • What information should be included, and in which language(s)?
  • How to communicate and highlight one’s expertise?
  • How to grow a network and reach out to potential opportunity providers?
  • How to search for and respond to professional opportunities?

 

About the speaker:

Mr Rémi AUGUSTYNIAK-BERZIN has worked in several public affairs positions in Paris, as an international civil servant in Brussels, and as a Consultant in European integration projects in Belgrade. From 2021 to 2024, he served notably as Deputy to the Ambassador of the  International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) to the European Union. As Founder of Most Europa / Most Africa, he works now from Valencia as a consultant specialised in culture and education policies, focusing on EU–Africa, EuroMed and Western Balkans cooperation, as well as an expert for the European Commission, and as a capacity-building facilitator and lecturer at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University since 2016, and more recently in Bucharest, Chisinau, The Hague and Strasbourg.

As an alumnus of the College of Europe in Natolin (Václav Havel Promotion, 2012–13) and former member of the Alumni Association Board (2017–2020), he launched a LinkedIn group allowing College students and alumni to share professional opportunities. He brings to this session his expertise in public affairs and public diplomacy, together with his own experience in seeking internships, professional opportunities, and project partners for European and international cooperation initiatives.
