Training on EU negotiations at the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU

On 11 and 12 September, the Executive Education, Training & Projects Office of the College of Europe delivered two one-day trainings on negotiations in the EU Council for staff of the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU. 

On each day, the participants immersed themselves in the skills and techniques that are efficient in EU negotiations. 

Through a negotiation simulation, they learned to develop persuasive arguments and techniques for gathering support in a negotiation situation. 

Finally, the participants reflected upon personal strategies to build a strong network among colleagues in the negotiation room.
