Guest lecture by Mr. Fatmir Besimi, Former Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs of North Macedonia

Our classroom was full of curious students and alumni as we kicked off our guest lecture series. Last Thurdsay, we welcomed Dr. Fatmir Besimi, Former Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs and Former Minister of Finance of North Macedonia, and now Professor of Economics at the South East European University.

Bringing over two decades of first-hand government experience to the classroom, Dr. Besimi delivered a lecture on the EU Accession Process of North Macedonia.

The lecture, moderated by our resident professor, Odeta Barbullushi, turned into an exchange where our students’ asked questions and gained a new perspective on the EU’s enlargement policy and the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
