JOB OPENING - Careers and Professional Development Advisor in the Student Affairs and Professional Development Office
The College of Europe in Natolin, with its postgraduate Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies, is at the cutting edge of the academic study of new developments in the EU and its neighbourhoods. It attracts students from all over Europe and beyond. We are currently looking for Careers and Professional Development Coordinator/Advisor to join the Student Affairs and Professional Development Office in July 2025.
About the job
We are looking for professionals with a degree in a relevant field (e.g. human resources, education, European affairs, human sciences, or a related discipline) and proven experience in career advising, talent development, recruitment, or institutional relations.
This position offers the opportunity for direct engagement with students, supporting them in shaping their future careers and identifying opportunities aligned with their professional goals. You will also contribute to the implementation of the Professional Development Programme, individual coaching sessions, and Career Days. The role involves regular contact with senior diplomats, international organizations, and high-level officials.
The most important tasks include:
- Conduct and coordinate one-on-one career coaching sessions;
- Organize career days, sectoral panels, and networking events with recruiters;
- Implementation of the logistical arrangements for Professional Developments and Career activities;
- Identify and propose new initiatives aligned with labour market trends (AI tools, sustainability jobs, hybrid diplomacy, etc.);
- Cooperation with other services and employees to ensure the proper implementation of the objectives of the College of Europe, Natolin.
Qualifications:
- Committed to student career support and professional development;
- Holds a relevant Master’s degree and has experience in human resources, education, European affairs, human sciences, or a related discipline;
- Proficient in English and digital tools (e.g. MS Office, LinkedIn, Canva); other languages are a plus;
- Knowledgeable about European/international job markets (EU, UN, NGOs, diplomacy, etc.);
- Strong interpersonal skills; works well independently and in diverse academic settings.
About the position:
- The position is full-time, based in Warsaw;
- We offer a one-year contract under Polish law, renewable.
