College of Europe Students participate in the 2025 European Law Moot Court Regional Finals

As in previous years, the College of Europe was proudly represented in the 2025 edition of the European Law Moot Court (ELMC), one of the world’s most prestigious university competitions in the field of EU law.

This year, we extend our warmest congratulations to our talented students Flore BOREL, Alexander SHEEHAN, Črt Samo GROŠELJ, and Nanna CHRISTENSEN from our European Legal Studies Department for their outstanding performance at the ELMC regional finals held in Helsinki on 20-23 February 2025!

After months of intense preparation, they confronted peers from leading European and US universities on a fictional case before the Court of Justice of the European Union. This year's case focused on the Brussels I bis Regulation, the rule of law requirements for national competition authorities, and the labeling of products from disputed territories – a true test of their legal expertise and strategic thinking!

A special acknowledgment goes to our dedicated coaches, Benedetta BRAMBATI and Justine COUDRON, whose expert guidance and support were instrumental in preparing the students for this demanding competition!
