A partir de 12/07 16:00 till 19/07 10:00
Winter Garden
Natolin (Warsaw) Campus

We are glad to announce that the Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) 2026 will soon be launched at the College of Europe in Natolin from July 12 to 19, 2026.

This year theme is:

"Democratic Resilience in the Contested Infosphere"

WEASA 2026 will bring together mid-career professionals from Eastern Europe the South Caucasus to critically examine how disinformation has evolved from an electoral concern into a permanent instrument of geopolitical competition that is actively reshaping the Euro-Atlantic integration.

This edition will analyse influence operations, propaganda, and cognitive warfare through the lenses of electoral integrity, platform regulation, influencer ecosystems, and AI-generated content, while situating these dynamics within the broader context of Euro-Atlantic integration and the hybrid pressures facing fragile democracies. Participants will explore how states and civil societies can build resilience without sacrificing free expression, media independence, or civic engagement.

WEASA 2026 will also function as a laboratory for peer learning and regional cooperation: participants will compare experiences across the Eastern Partnership, reflect on cases such as Moldova, or Georgia, and co-design approaches that keep democratic values at the centre of institutions built to withstand the pressures of an increasingly weaponized information environment.

WEASA is an annual summer school for mid-career professionals who are genuinely interested in geopolitics, democracy, security, and digital affairs.

WEASA was founded in 2013 in partnership by: The College of Europe in Natolin, the Polish American Freedom Foundation and the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
