Description

We support dialogue and mutual understanding between the EU and the Arab world by implementing the El Hiwar (dialogue, in Arabic) project.   

Activities focus on information sharing, capacity building and policy dialogue between the EU and the League of Arab States (LAS).  

El Hiwar strengthens interactions between EU and LAS staff; knowledge of EU policies by LAS, and vice-versa; policy thinking on themes of common interest and regional cooperation.  

The project also involves researchers, NGOs, business communities and young leaders (including via dedicated Summer Schools) to cultivate a diverse network of practitioners committed to constructive Euro-Arab cooperation.  

Services delivered in Arabic, English and French.
