College of Europe welcomes Professor Roberta GUERRINA as visiting scholar

Prof. Dr. Roberta GUERRINA, Professor of Politics at the University of Bristol and renown expert on gender and diversity, is joining the College of Europe in Bruges as a visiting scholar from mid-February to mid-April 2026. She has been a Visiting Professor in the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies since 2018. During her sabbatical stay at the College, Prof. GUERRINA will work on a research monograph on “Transcending Brexit: Contours and Remedies for a Polarised Community” and co-teach the optional course “Inclusion in EU External Action: Gender and Intersectionality at a time of Geopolitics”. She will also deliver a training for academic staff on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and has in the previous semester already offered an interactive session on cultural diversity, unconscious bias and micro-aggressions for the students at the College of Europe.
